In 2007, 20 women who recognized the importance of defending firearm rights for future generations gathered at Ann Busch’s house to brainstorm how women could take a more active leadership role in the NRA. Our goal was to unite women of influence to defend Second Amendment freedom and help secure the future of the NRA through philanthropic leadership. That goal became our mission statement, and that group became the NRA Women’s Leadership Forum. As a group, we’ve realized our goals to an extent none of us ever imagined a decade ago, and we’re only gaining momentum.
